IMC Sets New Standards in the Modern World of Work
Overview of the Project
As an early adopter, IMC recognized very early on that its customers, who want to purchase learning solutions established on the market in addition to traditional in-house installation, would also like to be flexible, depending on their individual learning needs. Microsoft Azure forms the basis for another provision method in the software-as-a-service model. The internal processes were also to be set up in a pioneering manner and IT modernized at the same time. IMC considered it important to improve cross-team collaboration by providing intuitive communication technology. Processes in the field of customer relationship management were also to be put to the test and optimized in this context.
IMC AG first created a solid basis for a flexible and scalable infrastructure with a migration to Microsoft Exchange and the introduction of the System Center Suite. Collaboration and knowledge management were optimized with the introduction of Office 365. A central platform is now available to the employees of IMC AG, through which uniform and secure communication as well as optimized collaboration can take place. The topic of customer relationship management was also addressed at the same time. A central database was created with the help of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online that is accessible independently of the terminal and enables flexible reporting for various, globally active target groups in the company.
