Overview of the Project

With SAP SuccessFactors, Open-Xchange relies on uniform software for personnel master data management, recruiting and the onboarding process.

On the one hand, it was important for the company to store all personnel data at a central location in a legally secure manner and, on the other hand, to relieve the burden on the HR department thanks to employee self-services.
For example, employees of Open-Xchange can update their absences or changes to their personal data (such as account information or addresses) directly in the system.

In addition, SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting & Onboarding ensures professional applicant management with automated emails and clearly defined recruitment processes. SAP SuccessFactors replaced the work of individuals in local Excel lists and significantly reduced the need for internal coordination thanks to standardized workflows and automated processes.
In this way, Open-Xchange makes our internal recruiting processes leaner, faster and simpler in order to be able to attract much-sought-after talented IT specialists even faster.

Due to the global location distribution of the company – from Finland to Japan – the SAP SuccessFactors system was also provided with various country configurations.

The HXM suite SAP SuccessFactors is being used with the modules SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding.
