Overview of the Project
As an innovative construction company with a long tradition, Adldinger not only implements modern construction concepts, but also relies on forward-looking technologies and tools in its internal organization. The focus is on simplifying collaboration for employees and increasing flexibility.
Adldinger also wanted a modern collaboration solution, which also facilitates simultaneous editing of documents as well as project-related teamwork. Another elementary part of the project was the replacement of traditional landline telephony with virtual telephony. All these requirements can be easily implemented with Microsoft 365 and in particular Microsoft Teams.
Two different options considered for virtual telephony. The requirements analysis compared the scenario Microsoft Calling Plans and anynode SBC. The choice ultimately fell on anynode, because the solution provides more flexibility in handling mobile devices as well as free choice of provider.
Microsoft 365 as a whole package was clearly the foundation of the project. The roll-out took place including Microsoft Teams, to which special attention was paid both as a tool for flexible collaboration and with a focus on telephony. Teams telephony was implemented with anynode SBC (Session Border Controller) as a virtual appliance on Azure. The Big Advantage of This Solution: Location Independence.
